Selling on ebay always involves risk. How can we better know what is going to sell for the best profit?

I always turn to ebay for this answer… anyone can make predictions – but, only ebay will tell us what is worth buying for resale.

One of the best ways to know what toys are selling well on ebay is RESEARCH! But, let’s get real… you are busy taking pictures, getting those auctions listed and shipping items...

Who has time to research?

And, to make it even more difficult, to *really* be able to know what is selling well, this research must be done on an ongoing basis. Spending a week researching hot toys is great – but, the results of that research can’t always be applied to next month. Ebay is constantly changing… and although toys are always great items to sell for profit, it isn’t always the same toys that bring in the dough.

HIiJenni, I wanted to tell you thanks so much for this list!! I sent my hubby to Safeway to find the Eintsein Puppets that you alerted us to. He only found two there, but also found a book on the Indian Motorcycle,paid $2.50 and we sold on ebay for $47.50. Then we journeyed to the other Safeway across town and picked up 5 complete sets of the Einstein puppets. We didn't do as well with those, but they all sold for around $30.00 a set! I have paid for my list subscription over and over, Keep up the great work!

DH and I had a few hours to ourselves and went to Target to look at baby stuff as I am 8 months pregnant. As we walked by the toy department I saw the Monopoly Here and Nows priced at $15.09. Remembering the Hot Toy Guide that some were selling for $30 I asked DH to scan it to make sure the price was indeed $15.09. Well it WAS and it also said "$5 gift card with purchase"!! I also thought I better look in Target's toy catalog for a coupon. Indeed there were $5 off coupons! We ended up buying 6 games. We spent $60 and received $30 in Target gift cards! I impatiently sold all of mine for $22.97 with free shipping. They all sold quickly. If I were more patient I would have listed them all as auctions, but I still made a nice profit on each and they are all gone already! Thanks Jenny!
